Hertford's Finest Cycle End to End

Meet the Team

Mike Aylott

aged 36

Amersham-born Mike works for a leading pharmaceutical  company, and has a flair for sporting statistics. On the sports front Mike played rugby and football for many years, but more recently has switched to ploughing a lone furrow, and has two London Marathon medals under his belt.

Adam Austin

aged 33

A committed rugby player for the mighty Hertford RFC with a prolific try scoring record, IT project manager Adam is the baby of the team. He has developed a passion for cycling in recent years, as well as keeping exotic birds at home.

Steve Malusky

aged 42

Never one to shirk a challenge, Steve is a hard headed Commissioning Manager in the NHS, with an impressive array of bikes in his garden shed, and a passive QPR supporter. Steve has cycled a similar distance through France before, and his experience will prove vital.

Chris Shattock

aged 37

Hertford born and bred, no-nonsense building surveyor Chris has an active interest in Hertfordshire Scouts. A natural athlete with peerless navigational skills, no sporting challenge is too great for him.
